Budock Vean welcomes dogs in most hotel rooms, self-catering lodges and holiday cottages. Dogs are welcome in the lounges, conservatory and terrace. The Helford River estate offers 65 acres of walks directly from the door.
The award-winning Helford Restaurant serves locally sourced Cornish produce; dogs are welcome in the lounges, conservatory and terrace for dining. The “Tails and Trails” dog break package is one of the most thoughtful in Cornwall — your dog arrives to a welcome gift, comfy bed and a Harbour Hounds dry robe for post-walk warmth.
Self-Catering Lodges and Holiday Cottages:
£70 per dog, per week (minimum charge of £70)

The hotel has a very welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were warm and attentive throughout our stay. It’s also dog-friendly, which was a big plus for us. Our room was extremely spacious, and the on-site facilities were excellent.
The estate walks along the Helford were magical — 65 acres and we barely covered half of it. Our Spaniel had the time of his life with the dog stick library. We used the spa in the afternoon while he slept off his walk. The dog welcome gift was a lovely touch. Will absolutely return.
